Silvia Hadzhiyaneva is Director Public Policy Europe Silvia’s role is to develop and implement Mastercard’s local public policy strategy in the Balkan region and to locally represent Mastercard’s European and global public policy agenda. In her work at Mastercard her focus has been the reduction of shadow economy through electronic payments, financial inclusion, promotion of financial awareness and digitization both at national and local levels.

She is going to present Mastercard Digital Payment Index 2021 for Bulgaria. The Digital Payment Index ('DPI') provides a holistic overview of the level and maturity of digitization and financial instruments in Bulgaria.
